New Lens Hood For the Voigtländer

Yesterday I got a new lens hood for my Voigtländer 35mm F/1.4 Nokton shown here on my Bessa R4A rangefinder. Hopefully this will reduce lens flare and increase contrast in the photographs.

    Were you getting a lot of flare with it?

    I did not get any visible flare (small circles) but without a lens hood it is always possible to get less visible flare where the contrast is reduced but there are no visible artifacts.

    I am starting to add lens hoods to all my lenses where possible.
